A Note From the Officers
As the 2022-23 Officer Team leads through the year, we continue to look forward to the opportunity to serve our special and unique chapter. Our goal as an officer team is to help our chapter members grow to be successful leaders, encourage others both in and outside of FFA, and have the confidence to try new things in order to bring out the person God is choosing them to be. We hope that our planning of chapter events/chapter meetings, fundraisers, community service opportunities, and implementation of our S.T.R.I.V.E. theme will allow our members to fulfill that goal.

One crucial step when fulfilling our theme throughout the school year is by building connections with every member. These connections will allow us to take full advantage of the activities in our FFA chapter. Our FFA meetings are much more beneficial when a large majority of our chapter is there, we can give so much more in our community service opportunities with a larger amount of people, and fundraisers and above chapter activities are much more fun to participate in with friends. Connections are what allow CVC FFA to thrive, and grow.

Because our FFA chapter is still so young, it is also more important than ever that we are willing to step outside of our comfort zones and try new things. As the officer team, we plan to introduce our members to new opportunities during the school year. This can include implementing new CDE/LDE teams, collaborating with other FFA chapters, new fundraiser ideas, new meeting activities/games, and more. We are open to new ideas from our members and hope to create an environment where each member feels welcome and willing to voice their thoughts and opinions.
